Vote M1 Platoon for Best Rap Group of the Year for the Carolina Music Awards!!

What's up everyone?! As you may have heard, the Carolina Music Awards will be coming up on August 8th and it's only right that M1 Platoon gets nominated for best rap group. You can make it happen.

We need everyone's participation!!! Simply go to Carolina Music Awards and you're there. All you have to do is type in your email address and M1 Platoon under the field for "Best Rap group." Also vote Vaughn Garcia (formerly known as Arafat Yates)as Best Producer of the Year.

Don't forget about family either!! Vote Carlitta Durand as Best Female R&B vocalist.

You can vote for all three at the same time. Be sure to do this before May 29th!!!

M1 Platoon launches "Put It On You Hard" campaign
DC hip-hop group putting the internet on promising summer anthem

Make no mistake about it, M1 Platoon is setting the summer off with their popular DC anthem, "Put It On You Hard ." This infectious tune is hosted by M1 Platoon with guest feature Prince Markee. Sampling the beat of up and coming DC go-go band called the Wildboyz, producer Vaughn Garcia (formerly known as Arafat Yates) brings electricity to the already amplified tune with tremendous bass and street emphasis. Top that off with the daunting lyrics of Scoopay, Sean D. and Big Chopps and undoubtedly, you have a winner.

Download "Put It On You Hard" to your computer, iTunes, CD-R, whatever and bump it wherever because you definitely don't want to be in the dark when the street lights come on...

Also, be sure you visit Carolina Music Awards and nominate M1 Platoon for the best Hip-Hop award! Voting is easy. simply type your email address and then cast your nomination. Introducing Vaughn Garcia

No, M1 Platoon does not have a new member, but a new persona. Arafat Yates, best known for his beatmaking ability behind the M1 Platoon sound, has decided to embrace his birth given name- Vaughn Garcia.

No doubt about it, Vaughn Garcia still has the touch to bless the board and bring a sound that this hip-hop nation has yet to name.
