Thanks to 2dopeboyz.com, "So Fly" (produced by Vaughn Garcia) is listed on The Wrap Up Vol. 7 mixed by DJ Slimm among major talents such as Ghostface, Raekwon, Crooked I, Cam'ron, T.I., Ill Bill and many more.

Also showcased on the mixtape are Carlitta Durand, the Reservoir Dogs (Rapper Big Pooh x Joe Scudda x Chaundon x Jozeemo) and members of the Foreign Exchange, all in whom which M1 Platoon carry some musical affiliation.

M1 Platoon will perform alongside Carlitta Durand and the Fat Snacks band on Thursday, July 23rd at D'Jangos Nite Club (495 Peachtree St, Atlanta). Special invited guest: iman.williams.

East coast artist collaborate for a creative summer tour

(July 2, 2009)--- Hot weather and hot music simply go together. With that, M1 Platoon wants to set your summer right by bringing you some of the best music you've never heard for the Generation Next tour.

Featuring some of the hottest up-and coming acts such as G-5 Clive, Carlitta Durand and Fat Snacks, GENERATION NEXT will provide an eclectic mix of hip-hop, r&b and jazz to open your world to a "new type" of sound.
M1 Platoon, hailing from the DMV collectively embody the essence of classic hip-hop groups with the youth of the present and hope of the future. Heavily influenced by reggae, go-go, rap and soul, the steam coming from their music burns through any stereo!

Carlitta Durand's talent goes without question as her sound is reminiscent of the be-bop sound of the Harlem Renaissance mixed with hip-hop rocks! Her current work with Phonte of Little Brother and Nicolay depict her promising future.

Fat Snacks, a band whose members perform all around the country, provide an interesting contrast as they adapt to any musical sound, having the ability to range their guitar chords and drum sticks between hip-hop jazz, rock, scat and soul.
