M1 Platoon launches Phase II of "Put It On You Hard" campaign

M1 Platoon launches Phase II of "Put It On You Hard" campaign
Group challenges fans to show how they represent the music
(June 6, 2009) Imagine how Mike Epps felt when he laid out his school clothes and told everyone "Imma kill'em in the morning!" Feeling pretty hyped, right? This is the feeling that M1 Platoon portrays through their single, "Put It On You Hard." The DMV-based hip-hop group invites you on a summer night in DC with the sound of cool air, concrete and carefree swag...but on the listener's terms.
Phase II invites fans to represent how they would "put it on you hard" by recording a short video clip at their favorite spot, hanging with their favorite folks, or just getting fresh to be best dressed...for whatever!
Listeners can simply record their video and upload to YouTube with the title "(Insert Name Here) can "Put It On You Hard"!!! Easy as that. Or email it to m1platoon@gmail.com.
Videos will then be posted on M1 Platoons main blogsite, http://www.m1platoon.blogspot.com. Check out Danny Miles's video clip that was made to the song "Swagidout" from M1 Platoon's latest mixtape, "We Not Them pt. II- All 4 U" .
Participants are encouraged to share videos via Facebook, Digg, Twitter, Myspace, etc.
M1 Platoon looks to release their 5th mixtape, "We Not Them pt. III" at the end of the summer.

Introducing Vaughn Garcia
No, M1 Platoon does not have a new member, but a new persona. Arafat Yates, best known for his beatmaking ability behind the M1 Platoon sound, has decided to embrace his birth given name- Vaughn Garcia.
No doubt about it, Vaughn Garcia still has the touch to bless the board and bring a sound that this hip-hop nation has yet to name.
